The glorious days of taking pride in spelling abilities… hhhhmmmm…

Days when “we’re where we were” didn’t confuse, making a fuss about force was understood, and writing it once in one’s diary made sense. When treadmills were for workouts and thread mills were for others to work out, as we lamented how to fight off the weight could be the fight of the year. Well, with gadgets to check and suggest what we write, spelling has lost its place in most must-have lists of competencies.

Problem is, if you don’t know the spellings you could easily misunderstand the messaging. After all, how many would get it if told we need our leaders to substitute their conning plans with cunning plans?
